ASSIGNMENT: General Counsel & Investment Counsel

Prime Advocates acts as general counsel to an international venture capital firm investing in companies and assets related to disruptive technology across multiple international jurisdictions. Our work has focused on five key areas:

Managing and optimising operations and decreasing risk: We support all day-to-day corporate advisory compliance and legal functions for a back office. We advise on changes to group corporate structure, compliance policies, future growth strategy and management structures to ensure optimal performance within tax, business plan and compliance frameworks.

Private Equity Investments: We negotiate investment arrangement for our client into private blockchain and crypto companies through equity, debt, hybrid and other innovative financial instruments. We support all our clients cross jurisdictions actions .

Transaction Management: We provided transaction management and general oversight ensure the best. deal gets done. For example, providing technical legal expertise and risk analysis on a multi-million USD new business deal. We manage external counsels, providing cost suppression on fees, plan development for the transaction, drafting the offering documents and managing stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions (e.g. Middle East, US, UK and Switzerland).  

Network: We provide access to pragmatic advice on international regulation, market practices, service providers, partners and risks across multiple jurisdictions.

Litigation: We manage litigation issues on behalf of our client, such as pursuing delinquent payments and protecting their interests.
